This is the successor to the much vaunted Target LRC 100 laser jammer. The LRC 100 in turn was replacement for the LE 850 laser jammer that Beltronics Radar Detectors took on board as their stablemate to the Bel 966 in built radar detector. The LRC100 is about half the size of the LE850 but still uses the same Gallium Arsenide laser module, which is the same one that the police use in their laser guns. Unlike the LE850 though the transponder is mounted in line front to back with the car which means that the smallest section of the laser transponder is facing forward through the grill of the car. It packs a big laser punch.
