Extra features are :-
1. Speed Sensitivity: This allows the Geodesy to remain silent if you are travelling within the speed limit on that road. It will still give a visible warning but will remain quiet and will not flash unless you exceed the speed limit for that road.

2. Auto Ranging: This will decrease the chosen range by 50% when the camera is in a 30mph or less zone, and by 30% in a speed zone between 30mph and 50mph, and full range when in a 60 or 70 mph Limit.

3. Awareness Beep: This feature gives you one audible beep when the first indicator of the scale of ten is illuminated. This will quickly alert you to coming into the range of a designated location.

Morpheous employ a dedicated team to make sure every fixed speed camera location goes on the database, but with 25 new cameras being erected across the country every week, sometimes you may see them before they do.

Overview
The Geodesy is supplied complete with a database of gatso and other static speedtraps inbuilt into it's memory, this can be updated as often as you wish with the custom made self dialling modem, which simply plugs into your standard telephone line.

How It Works
Based on GPS (Global Positioning System / Satellites) technology, the Geodesy will track at least 3 of the 24 satellites that are orbiting the Earth. By doing this the inherent software can work out it's exact position on the Earth's surface to within a few metres. By referencing it's own position against the positions of known static speedtraps it can activate the visual and audible warning sequences when you come within the specified range of a speedtrap. This means that it does not rely on a radar signal to pick up a location making it far more reliable. It also means that because it relies purely on Global Positioning it will give a warning of speedtraps that are passive such as the new SPECS or SVDD or Digital systems.

The Geodesy is easy and ready to use from the box.
The Geodesy is dispatched from the factory with a range of default settings, these should be fine to get started and will give ample warning of speedtrap locations, the settings include volume, range, brightness, sound tone.
So when you receive the box you can simply take it out of the box plug the cable into your car cigarette lighter socket, insert the Geodesy and away you go. Once you have become accustomed to it's use you can have the settings changed to how you prefer, just by telephoning or emailing back to base and requesting the settings to be changed. This will allow optimum performance for your own driving style and conditions.

The Geodesy is versatile and robust.
It comes complete with 1 power clip for a car cigarette lighter which could also be used for direct wiring into the electrics. This allows multiple use of one Geodesy into many vehicles. It is water resistant, shock resistant, and vibration resistant and so is designed to be able to be used on a motorcycle or in a car, you can move it between either easily. It's size is also a determining factor in it's ease of portability, about the size and weight of a pack of cards it can slip into a pocket discreetly and easily.

Optional Features Now Available
First Beep - This will give a short audible warning when the first light is luminated indicating that a speedtrap is within the set range.
Speed Sensitivity - This will alter the Geodesy to only give an audible warning if the speed limit is being exceeded. Visual warnings will still be given but will remain constant rather than flashing.
Auto Ranging - If the speedtrap is wihin a 50mph limit or less the range will be reduced automatically by 30%, and by 50% if the speedtrap is in a 30mph area or less.
